snug wraparound shape that
comfortably
fits nearly all men's and women's face sizes
and offers full spectrum 100% UVA/UVB protection. Catalina
features one-piece PolarMax lenses that provide distortion free,
ophthalmic quality vision and extreme eye comfort. There are no
laminates to separate, and nothing to degrade the polarization, as with
cheaper laminated lenses. Laminated Polarized lenses can delaminate due
to faulty bonding, aging and exposure to heat. Catalina
polarization filters are distributed evenly throughout the lens and not
laminated. PolarMax™ multi-layer filtration lenses block nearly
100% of surface reflected glare. This makes them ideally suited
for use around water, snow, and even for driving. It is important to avoid
cheap polarized sunglasses, because hazy delaminated lenses may result
in excessive eye strain and loss of your vision's effectiveness.
