Interchangeable Lens Changing Instructions |
|
| |
|
Although the manufacturer says that you can do this
easily by hand I have found that it isn’t nearly as easy
as they describe. I have also found that some pairs are
much tighter than others until you have done it a few
times. Below I have described the safest way I have
found to interchange the lenses without risking breaking
the frames. |

Right Side Lens Removal – Holding the sunglasses
by the bridge, put a small straight blade screwdriver in
the upper left corner just between the lens and the
frame. Then twist the screwdriver blade slowly which
will begin to create a gap in the upper left corner
between the lens and the frame. Depending on the width
of your screwdriver blade it may pop out all the way or
most of the way in that corner. You should be able to
grab the lens and pull down from the bridge area which
will pull it loose first from the front left and then
the right side next. Note; it is very important that you
always try to hold the frame at the bridge when pulling
on the lenses and never from the ear piece. |

Right Side Lens Install – Holding the frames from the bridge,
put the small tab that is on the upper left corner of
the lens (front facing you) into the notch near the
frame’s bridge. Once it is in place on the left you can
grab the lens and the frame directly above and below
that right notch and simply squeeze until the right
notch snaps into the frame. |

Left Side Lens Remove and Install
– The left side can be done using the exact same method
for removing and installing the lens.
It is important to note that when interchanging your
lenses never grab or hold the frames from the ear
piece areas. Always try to hold the frame from the
nose bridge.
